Metis — Logo for a Digital Transformation Agency

Logo for Metis, a digital transformation and data agency
Digital Data Logo Design

Metis is an agency specialising in digital transformation and data support for businesses. The identity needed to reflect both the technical rigour of the profession and a modern, approachable dimension, away from the sometimes cold image associated with the data sector.

Project background

The Metis logo was created in 2024, originally for an agency positioned on digital transformation and data. Since then, the brand's activity appears to have shifted toward the travel sector — an interesting illustration of how a well-built visual identity can support a company beyond its original positioning.

The work

The logo rests on a precise geometric construction, with a symbol evoking connection and data structuring. The choice of colours and shapes aims for a balance between technical seriousness and visual modernity.

Why this style

For a data consulting agency, the logo's geometric precision itself becomes an argument for credibility: a poorly built or approximate symbol would directly contradict the company's message of rigour.

What makes a good digital agency logo?

A digital or data agency is judged, rightly, on the perceived modernity of its own image even before being judged on its technical skills. A digital agency logo therefore needs to combine rigour (geometric precision, construction consistency) with a touch of modernity that avoids looking dated within a few years.

An often underestimated point: a digital agency's logo also needs to stay neutral enough to accompany the business as it evolves over time. An identity too literally tied to one specific service (a data-chart icon, for instance) can become a constraint if the agency broadens or shifts its positioning, as can happen over the years.
