Serviamo — Logo for a Construction Project-Management Consultancy

Serviamo, led by Frédéric Espieux, needed a logo able to convey a role that's often misunderstood: that of an Assistant to the Project Owner (AMO), an essential guide for steering a construction or renovation project smoothly between all the parties on site.
Project background
A construction or renovation project never rests on a single party: it rests on an inseparable trio — the client, the project manager, the contractor. Serviamo steps into this trio as the AMO: neither project manager nor contractor, but the client's representative, there to carry their side of the work forward and keep the project on track.
The work
The logo concept is built around a compass integrated into the "S" of Serviamo, symbolising this clear sense of direction and this essential guiding role between the different parties on a building site. The identity pairs a deep blue, carrying rigour, with a touch of red, bringing dynamism and decisiveness.
The result asserts a distinctive position in a market where construction-industry visual codes are often very literal: here, it's the guiding function that's foregrounded, rather than the image of the building site itself.
Why this style
An AMO consultancy first and foremost sells trust and clarity: the logo therefore needed to evoke a sure sense of direction rather than a tool or a building, to stay true to the real value the profession adds.
What makes a good logo for an AMO consultancy?
Project-management assistance is a consulting profession little understood by the general public, sitting between the architect and the construction firm. A good logo for this kind of structure has to do double duty: be recognisable, but also help people grasp the consultancy's position at a glance — a strategic point of reference, not just another technical contractor.
A strong abstract symbol — a compass, a sense of direction, a landmark — works particularly well for this type of activity: it builds an image of a reliable guide, without blending into classic construction-industry visual codes.
